Delgado Community College’s Charity School of Nursing invites prospective, current and pre-nursing students and their families to an Open House at the School of Nursing (450 S. Claiborne Avenue in New Orleans) 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011.

The event is free and open to the public. Children are welcome and activities will be provided. Free parking will be available in the parking garage via the Perdido Street entrance.

Tours of the campus, including the ultrasound program, by current students will begin at 9 a.m. and the last tour will start at 11 a.m. Faculty and staff will answer questions and there will be demonstrations of state-of-the-art technology. Admission requirements and application packets with testing information will be distributed and discussed.

The Open House is presented by the Charity School of Nursing Promotion Task Force; Charity Association of Student Nurses; Delgado Student Government Association–Charity Campus; ING Investments; and Subway–South Claiborne Ave.
