Fred Tuhro, coordinator of the Business and Management program at Delgado Community College, releases some of the 90 koi purchased with proceeds from a student-run raffle called “90 Fish for the 90th” into the pond outside the City Park Campus Student Life Center. Tuhro’s students use their business and marketing skills to raise funds for the Save Our Pond project, begun after Katrina’s floodwaters damaged the natural habitat on and near the campus. Delgado is celebrating its 90th Anniversary in 2011-2012.
