Below you will find a listing of frequently asked questions and answers.  

Do I qualify for a bookstore credit?

A bookstore credit is available to students who have:

*completed their financial aid process by December 2, 2011

*have a credit balance (negative balance)

*have submitted their Authorization of Credit form to Financial Aid (if you have received a bookstore credit in the past, you DO NOT have to resubmit the form!)

*First Time Loan ONLY borrower’s are not eligible to receive Bookstore credits!

When will I see my blackboard courses?

The First Day of Class is Saturday, January 21, 2012; your Blackboard course site(s) will be available on or after January 21, 2012 at your Instructors discretion

When will I receive my Financial Aid refund?

Refunds will begin going out to those students who have a credit balance (negative balance) the week of February 10.

**1st time Loan Borrower’s things to know:

  • First-time borrowers loan funds will not be disbursed until AFTER February 23, 2012. You should not rely on LOAN MONEY for books!
  • You must complete the Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling at www.studentloans.gov before your loan can be disbursed
  • It takes between 3-5 days for Delgado to receive you Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling Verifications.
  • You MUST enroll in and complete six hours or more in order to receive and keep loan funds.
